iGear is a toy company started in 2010 that specializes in third-party Transformer toys and accessories.

iGear

IGear started out as one of the of the more controversial third-party companies. One of thier more popular toys, Faith Leader, was a scaled down copy of the Masterpiece Optimus Prime toy.

  • iGear IG-TF003 MP-08 Upgrade Set (2009)
An unlicensed set of accessories for Masterpiece Grimlock made by iGear. This set includes a crown, a mug and small, non-transforming version of Thrust in jet mode.[1]

The WTF@TFW podcast for October 21st, 2010 selected a picture of iGear's Bumblebee prototype as one of the New Picture Picks.[2]

The Radio Free Cybertron podcast for February 29th, 2012 discussed in a Bumblebee/Cliffjumper prototype as part of their Third Party Roundup.[3]

The Retro Robot Radio podcast for September 28th, 2013 mentioned the iGear Computer Control Center version 2 in the news.[4]

The Shattered Cast Uncut podcast for August 14th, 2014 discussed iGear's Predator and Cyberjet homages in the news.[5]
