Jetstrike is a fictional character and third party Transformer homage to Generation 1 Pretender Starscream and GoBots Fitor made by Play With This Too.

Play With This Too

Jetstrike is an intergalactic heroic character created by Play With This Too. He is a member of the Protectors and has a Tech Drone partner named R-Ject who turns into a jet fighter.

The rights to the head sculpt for Ankhor, Jetstrike and Metalhawk will be sold to backers at the Play With This Too crowd funding.

Other third party Transformer homage to Starscream include iGear's Traitor, Impossible Toys Banshee, TFC Toys Screamer and Mastermind Creations Screecher.

Development

Jetwash was revealed at TFcon Chicago 2014 where art was placed on display, and later is appeared in the Third Party Panel.[1]

It was later announced his name was changed to Jetstrike.

Flarestrike and Jetstrike were among the stretch goals for the Lost Protectors Kickstarter campaign. They were to be unlocked if the campaign raised at least $280,000. The head sculpts of Flarestrike and Jetstrike were also offered to supporters who pledged enough money. [2]

In June 2015 Play With This Too released renders of the Strike Scepter on their Facebook page. They released renders of Boneyard online and announced they would be doing a second Kickstarter with the characters of Boneyard, Jetstrike and Wastelander among the initial figures offered as rewards. The Tech Drones would likely be stretch goals.

In July 2015 Play With This Too asked on their Facebook page if Maqua should be one of the one of the 2 additional heads provided with Boneyard and Jetstrike.[3] The design for the Tech Drone would be more like Microns. At the end of the month they revealed a render of the sculpt for Jetstrike's head.
