Machine Robo
Buggy Robo is a sometimes heroic mechanoid of the Battle Clan who turns into a dube buggy. Initially a bandit working for Bug Newman, later became an ally in the war against the Gandora. Because of his mechanoid nature, Battle Robo does not need to breath oxygen and is resistant to extreme cold, but is vulnerable to intense magnetic fields. His weapon of choice is his Ionoid Supersonic Cannon.

Fifteen years before the Gandora invasion of Cronos Battle Robo, Buggy Robo, Rury and Supercar Robo were students at a martial arts Dojo run by Rury's father when it was visited by Master Kirai Stol. These events are recalled by Rury in Machine Robo: Revenge of Cronos episode 13, "Jet! Defeat the Double Death Blade!".[1]
Buggy Robo first appeared in episode 10, "Defeat Bug, the User of Darkness!", where he was a member of Bug Newman's bandit gang. Buggy Robo was later present when Bug and Iron Sand were defeated by Rom and Vikung-Fu.[2]
Buggy Robo appeared in episode 27 of Machine Robo: Revenge of Cronos, called "The Magic Mountain Knight Maskrock". In the episode Eagle Robo was part of a Yamilan City volunteer group lead by Rom Stol that went to retrieve the Metal Laster cure for Gandora rust poison gas which has effected Reina Stol and some school children. Eagle Robo gave Buggy Robo a lift when they flew off for their mission.[3]
In episode 29, "Escape From the Underground - Pro Truck Racer Appears!", Ambulance Robo, Buggy Robo, Mixer Robo, Offroad Robo and Porsche Robo appeared defending the city during a Gandora attack.
