Development
The head for King Adder was designed by Emiliano Santalucia. The tail was designed by Albie Lim. Play With This Too first put art of the head on the Facebook page in February 2015.[1]
In February 2015 Play With This Too released images of the prototype for Desolataur, which included parts used on King Adder.
Sir Pythanore and King Adder were among the stretch goals for the unsuccessful Lost Protectors Kickstarter campaign. They were to be unlocked if the campaign raised at least $125,000.[2]
Reception
The Star To Star Toys News podcast for March 23rd, 2015 discussed Calaminous Haagenti, Catastropheles, Concept, Count Tuskula, Desolataur, King Adder, Lord Tangent Von Tuskuleser, Madwing, Muscules, Skull-F, Terribull and Wastelander in the news.[3]
Fictional biography
The mysterious Serpents of the Coiled Throne maintain order on their home-world of Aspalon. These fearsome cold-blooded warriors claim kinship with the snakes and serpent-men of all worlds and woe be to any man or machine that intervenes in their quests or, worse, goads them into battle.
Serving the will of their lord, King Adder, are Sir Pythanore, a wise and cunning aide to the King, Sir Fangramore LeVenomous, powerful lashing warrior of unequaled strength and a host of eager young viper squires ready to test their mettle and earn their honor.

- A 6 inch tall articulated figure with interchangeable head and limbs. He has numerous 5mm connector ports.
- King Adder shares the same basic design with Prince Carnos.
