Blue Jet is a fictional character from the Machine Robo series. He is a heroic Machine Robo introduced in 1983 as Jet Robo, but was renamed Blue Jet in 1986 for Machine Robo: Revenge of Cronos.

Machine Robo

A young warrior and son of the leader of the Jet Tribe, Blue Jet transforms into a jet and stands 6 feet 11 inches tall. He trained under Master Kirai Stol along side his friends Rod Drill and Rom Stol. He uses Tenku Chushin Ken martial arts. Because of his robotic nature, Blue Jet does not need to breath oxygen. His weapons include Ionoid Vulcan, his Sky True Sword and his Blazer Cannon.

The design of the Machine Robo Rescue character Jet Robo was directly based on Blue Jet.

Blue Jet in Machine Robo: Revenge of Cronos episode #1, "Rising Storm! The Fighting Style of Justice!"

Blue Jet was one of the main characters in the animated series Machine Robo: Revenge of Cronos. He first appeared in episode #1, "Rising Storm! The Fighting Style of Justice!". He aided his friends and fellow martial arts students Rom Stol and Rod Drill in rescuing Reina Stol and Triple Jim from Devil Satan 6.[1]

In episode #2, "Wolf Sword! Call Forth the Thunder of Courage!" Jet and friends attended the funeral of Kirai, where Rom took on a quest to follow the Wolf Sword's directions to find the next threat to Cronos. This quest would lead the companions to a fortress with the Wolf Symbol which attacked by Grujios and the Devil Satan 6. Rom and friends were captured by the Gandora when the people of the fortress betrayed them, but once it was clear the Gandora were still a threat, the people of the fortress helped free the companions. Rom used Vikung-Fu to defeat Devil Satan 6 once again.

In episode 3 "Steal the Metal Laster!", Rom Stol and his friends were traveling when Rod Drill fell into an acid swamp, which caused him to rust. The group traveled to the nearby village of Vira in an attempt to get water to clean Rod. The village was attacked by the Devil Satan 6, who were looking for the Metal Laster for Gades, which was rumored to cure rust and aging. Rom battled the 6, but they got away with a jug which they thought contained the Metal Laster. Luckily the jug contained acid from the swamp. Rod was cured of his rust by the real Metal Laster, and they made a friends with the people of the village, particularly Min, the daughter of the village chief. [2]

Blue Jet appeared in episode #17, "Death in the Demonic Castle in the Sky Part 1", Jet Tribe members were called in by Blue Jet to help recover Reina Stol when she was kidnapped by Grujios. The jets were opposed by the Devil Satan 6 and had to retreat.[3]

The Blue Jet and the Jet Tribe members continued to help in episode #18, "The Demonic Castle - Farewell Grujios", and once Reina was rescued and Grujios had been defeated the Jet Tribe members bid farewell and returned home.

In episode #19, "Race to the Death!" Blue Jet watched the annual race of Momo, along side Reina and Jim.[4]

Blue Jet appeared in episode #21, "Angel of the Mind, Vikung-Fu - Protect". Apollo Robo, Blackbird Robo, Falcon Robo and Shuttle Robo attacked Blue Jet when he attempted to enter Cleo City, but Blue Jet easily knocked them all from the sky.[5]

In episode #22, "Rockdon Versus Rockgilen" Blue Jet split Gigerrock in half with his sword.[6]

Blue Jet appeared in episode #27, called "The Magic Mountain Knight Maskrock". Blue Jet lead a squadron of Jet Tribe against the Devil Satan 6. He part of a Yamilan City volunteer group lead by Rom Stol that went to retrieve the cure for Gandora rust poison gas which had effected Reina and some school children.[7]

Bike Robo, Harley Robo and Tough Trailer were among the reinforcements Blue Jet brought in to help save Rubyman from the Gandora in episode #35, "The Secret of the Jewel People".[8]

In episode #37, "Critical Moment - Land Commander 5". The Varigale-X attacked a nearby city to draw Rom Stol out. Harley Robo escaped and headed to Rom and the others but was possessed by Grujios on route and used him to ask Rom for help and he obliged, taking Blue Jet, Rod Drill and Pro Truck Racer to the city.

In episode #41, "Power Riser - Break Through the Enemy" when Rom attempts to leave in his Power Riser suit to take on the Gandora he is joined by many of his allies, including Bike Robo, Blue Jet, Wrestler Robo, Reina, Rod Drill and Triple Jim.

In episode #42, "Vikung-Fu - Cry of Anger", Battle Gyror, Blue Jet, Classic Robo, Combat Buggy, Countach Robo, Fire Robo, Mixer Robo, Porsche Robo, Pro Truck Racer, Rod Drill and Trailer Robo were attacking the downed Gandora mothership during a giant hail storm when they are attacked by missiles.

Blue Jet fought in the final attack on the Gandora in episode #44, "Cronos' Last Battle". He chooses to leave Cronos at the end of the series with Bike Robo, Rod Drill and others.

Note: Jet is 15 years old at the start of the Machine Robo: Revenge of Cronos animated series. He some English subtitles of the series he is called Ken or Rom (despite Rom Stol also being called Rom).

A 5-pack that included in the pack were blue version of Harrier Robo, a yellow version of Jet Robo, a variant of Shuttle Robo, a black version of Giro Robo and a variant of F-15 Eagle Robo with blue upper legs.
