Roar is a fictional character and third party Transformer homage to Generation 1 Snarl made by Toyworld.

Toyworld
Roar is a third party Transformer who turns into a robotic stegosaurus. He is an homage to the 1985 Transformers character Snarl.
Other third party Transformers inspired by Snarl include JustTIoys Desert Warrior Snarl and Keith's Fantasy Club Bladeback.
Development
Toyworld first posted toy images of their Sludge and Snarl homage on their web site in July 2014.[1] He was scheduled for release in September.
Reception
The Retro Robot Radio podcast for August 2nd, 2014 covered the teasers for Toyworld's Orionvil, Sludge and Snarl homages, as well as the second release of Hegemon in the news.[2]
The TransMissons podcast for August 11th, 2014 discussed Toyworld Sludge and Snarl homages in the news.[3]
