Demolishor is a Decepticon featured in several continuities of the Transformers franchise.

History

Unicron Trilogy

Animated series

Demolishor (known as Ironhide in Japan) first appeared as part of Megatron's forces in Transformers: Armada in their bid to capture the Mini-Cons and defeat the Autobots.

In Transformers: Energon Demolisher is shown to have remained in alliance with the Autobots, serving as gatekeeper of Ocean City on Earth where he often had to deal with Kicker Jones' escape attempts. When the Terrorcons first appeared and his old teammates Tidal Wave and Cyclonus sided with them, Demolishor began to question his place, and later rejoined his teammates after Megatron returned. Despite this, he still held some regard for his former allies, up until his body was destroyed by the Energon grid of the Miranda 2. Megatron soon revived him in a new body while also erasing some of his memories, leaving him the fully dedicated Decepticon he had been before the Autobots and Decepticons joined forces.

Demolishor and his comrades continued to battle the Autobots for some time, though Demolishor's competence was always somewhat lacking.

Timelines

Shattered Glass

Demolishor-in his Armada Powerlinx colors-appears as one of Megatron's heroic Decepticon forces, though the alternate Cliffjumper notes that he's unfamiliar with a counterpart of Demolishor from his original universe. This is because Demolishor is in fact one of three Transformers created by the Underbase for unknown purposes, the others being Jetstorm and Sideburn.

Films

Demolishor appears as a Decepticon in Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, where he is brought down by the Autobots but then warns that "The Fallen will rise."
