Early Life
Samuel Bellettiere also known as Sam Bellettiere was born on June 19, 1998 in Tinley Park, IL to parents Kim and Anthony. He has an older brother named A.J. Sam grew up in Tinley Park and attended Cardinal Joseph Bernardin Catholic School for his elementary and middle school education. While at CJB, Samuel Bellettiere played basketball and baseball and was also a member of the Key Club volunteer organization. In high school, Sam attended Lincoln Way North where he played football freshman year and participated in the shot put and discus events for the track and field team during his sophomore and junior years.
Education
Sam's years at Lincoln Way North were formative in terms of his personal and academic development. He took advanced placement courses in English and history, and also participated in the school's Model United Nations program. This experience taught Sam the value of teamwork, collaboration, and public speaking, skills that would serve him well in his future career in marketing. In addition to his academic pursuits, Sam was also an active member of the school's volunteer program, spending countless hours volunteering at local hospitals and non-profit organizations.
After graduating from Lincoln Way North in 2016,Samuel Bellettiere attended Bradley University where he studied marketing. He was drawn to this field because of his passion for helping others and his natural ability to communicate effectively with people. At Bradley, Sam Bellettiere was heavily involved in a number of extracurricular activities that helped him develop his marketing skills. He worked as a marketing associate for the university's athletics department, where he assisted in creating pre-season marketing plans and coordinating promotional campaigns for the university's sports teams.
Career
In addition to his work with the athletics department,Sam Bellettiere also interned at Next Chapter Properties, a leading student housing company. At Next Chapter, Sam was responsible for conducting effective sales efforts, showcasing properties to potential residents, and closing leasing contracts. He excelled in this role, consistently generating leads and closing deals at a high success rate. Sam's hard work and dedication to his studies paid off when he graduated from Bradley University in 2020 with a Bachelor's degree in Marketing.
After graduation, Sam Bellettiere continued to work at Next Chapter Properties as a leasing consultant. In this role, he was responsible for helping the company achieve its occupancy goals by conducting effective sales and marketing efforts. Sam also played a key role in training new leasing agents, sharing his knowledge and expertise with his colleagues. In recognition of his outstanding performance, Samuel Bellettiere was promoted to Leasing & Marketing Team Lead in 2021. In this role, he oversaw the leasing teams at five different properties and was responsible for ensuring that the teams were meeting their goals and following proper procedure.
In addition to his work at Next Chapter Properties, Sam also served as a building manager for Illini Chabad, a private certified housing company serving students at the University of Illinois. In this role, Sam Bellettiere was responsible for serving as the liaison between the company and the university, as well as overseeing the maintenance and repair of the company's properties. He was also responsible for supervising the resident director and resident advisors, and ensuring that the company's dorms were safe and welcoming for all students.
Sam's most recent position was as a leasing manager at Smile Student Living. In this role, he assisted the property manager in supervising, training, and motivating the leasing consultants. He also qualified prospects, negotiated leasing requirements, and completed paperwork. Sam's strong customer service skills and ability to build relationships with residents helped him bolster resident retention through renewal programs and community events.
Throughout his career, Sam Bellettiere has consistently demonstrated strong skills in team management, property marketing, customer relations, and market research. He has been in a relationship with his girlfriend, Kelly Ceranec, since they met on the 4th of July in 2018. Kelly is an exhibit fabricator at Taylor Studios in Champaign, IL, where she has been working since graduating from the Savannah College of Art & Design (SCAD) in Savannah, GA.
For the first year of their relationship, Sam and Kelly dated long distance, with Kelly continuing her studies at SCAD while Sam remained in Illinois. Despite the distance, they were able to maintain a strong and committed relationship, and were able to see each other on breaks and holidays. Once Kelly graduated from SCAD and moved to Champaign to start her career at Taylor Studios, they were finally able to be together in the same place, and have been living together since.
In addition to their work and studies, Sam and Kelly also share a love of animals and have a dog together named Flash. They take care of Flash together, making sure he is well-fed, exercised, and loved. Sam and Kelly enjoy spending time with Flash and taking him on walks and adventures around the city.
