Conabus is a fictional character and third-party Transformer homage to Headstrong made by TFC Toys in 2014.

TFC Toys

Conabus turns from humanoid robot to robotic rhino or becomes the left leg of Ares. He is named after one of the fire breathing horses of Ares in mythology. Conabus is Greek for "tumult".

Development

Conabus is a third-party Transformer homage to Generation 1 Headstrong.

TFC Toys teased five outlines of the Ares members in robot mode on their weibo page in March 2013.[1]

Prototype images and the names of Conabus and Phlogeus were posted to weibo in July 2013.[2]

In August 2013 TFC Toys put prototype images of Conabus and Phlogeus on their weibo page.[3]

In January 2013 TFC Toys released the first color picture of Conabus on their weibo page.
