Broad Caster is a fictional character made by Junkion Blacksmith in 2011 as a third-party Transformer. He is an homage to both the 1984 Transformers character Blaster and Transformers Headmasters sub-line.

Junkion Blacksmith

Little is known about Broad Caster. He is a Headmaster who also transforms into a boom box. He resembles the Transformers Autobot Blaster.

According to his tech specs Broad Caster is very strong, intelligent, tough, brave and skilled. He had better than average firepower. His biggest weaknesses his he is very slow.

Other third-party Transformer homages to Blaster include BTS Toys Resonator.

Development

At a toy convention in China Broad Caster was called Scouting Officer in early prototype displays.[1]

Broad Caster was previewed at the Third Party Panel at TFcon 2011.[2]

Broad Caster was released in November 2011.
