Pumper is a fictional character from the GoBots series. He is heroic Guardian GoBot introduced in 1983.

Pumper is a Guardian GoBot who turns into a fire truck. He is the twin brother of Dumper.

Pumper was released by Tonka in 1983.
Reception
Pumper was chosen as the 8th goofiest GoBot name by Topless Robot in 2010.[1]
Fictional biography
Dumper's twin brother, Pumper, pumps a lot of iron at night to keep in shape. When he turns into a fire truck, he pumps a lot of water putting out fires started by the Enemy GoBots.
Abilities
Like most GoBots, Pumper has numerous abilities because of his robotic body. He can survive in space and is super-humanly strong and tough. He can fly in robot mode and project energy blasts from his hands. His body heals quickly when supplied with energy. He can turn into a fire truck.
Books
The twins Dumper and Pumper were among the Security Force team assembled by Leader-1 to capture Cy-Kill in the story Escape To Planet Earth.

Echoverse
Pumper was featured in the 2016 Ask Vector Prime story Echoes and Fragments, set during the events of The Transformers: The Movie. The manipulations of the evil Gong and Sideways resulted in various GoBots swapping places with characters during the events of that film. Pumper took the place of Ironhide in the plot. He was killed by Decepticons on board the shuttle on the way to Earth.[2]
Rhetoricverse
Pumper appeared in the Transformers: Renegades Rhetoric episode 35 story "Trash and Treachery". In the story Pumper and Staks attended a global summit on pollution, where they were attacked by Zero and the Master Renegade.[3]
Courageous appeared the episode 51 story "Bears and Bulls". He was piloted by Turbo, Scooter, Pumper and Beamer.
Pumper was mentioned in the Fun Publications 2015 Ask Vector Prime Facebook series when it was hosted by Cy-Kill. In one story Cy-Kill mentioned how he was once captured by Bullseye, Dive-Dive, Dozer, Dumper and Pumper.[4]
