Drone is a third party Transformer add-on kit made by Headrobots.
Development
Drone was previewed at the Third Party Panel at TFcon 2011.[1]
Drone prototypes were displayed at the Cherry Bomb Toy Show in October 2011.[2]
Black King, Darksol, Drone, Garrison, Iguana, Ronin, Savant and Tauros were among the toys made by Headrobots spotlighted at the TFcon 2012 Third Party Panel.[3]
Drone was released in February 2013.

The Good Morning, Cybertron! podcast for October 17th, 2011 discussed prototype images of Headrobots Drone in the news.[4]
The Radio Free Cybertron podcast for November 28th, 2012 discussed Drone as part of their Third Party Roundup.[5]
In the Fwooshcast podcast for June 2nd, 2013 one of the hosts talked about the Headrobots Drone he recently purchased.[6]
Comics
In Undercover!! The Great Drone Counteroffensive Courageous steals a mysterious disc from the evil Headrobots. He uses its powerful algorithm to create Drone from the source codes of himself, Stronghold, Centurion and Hothead. In the story Courageous uses the Generaton 1 Chromedome body.[7]
