Diesel is a fictional character in the fictional Crossfire characters created by FansProject in 2014. He is an homage to the 1988 Transformers character Motormaster.

FansProject

Diesel is a third party Transformer homage to Generation 1 Motormaster. He combines with the other four members of the Crossfire race team (Car Crash, Downforce, Last Chance and T-Bone) to make M3.

He transforms from semi truck and trailer into the race team leader and is the central torso of M3 with the other members making the limbs. While the 4 cars are based on modern car designs, Diesel is almost a straight homage to the 1980s toy alternate mode he was based on.

Development

Prototype images of Diesel were posted online in May 2013.[1]

Diesel was released in January 2014.

Reprolabels released a set of Motormaster themed labels for Diesel in April 2014.
