The Crusaders are third party Transformer homages to three Targetmaster partners from 1987.
Up Close is "The Maker of Peace", Buzz Kill is "The Sure Shot" and Pin Point is "The Sniper"
Development
Renders of Up Close, Buzz Kill and Pin Pointer were posted to the MasterShooter Collectiables Facebook page in January 2012.
The Crusaders were released in June 2013.
Reception
The Good Morning, Cybertron podcast for June 3rd, 2013 discussed the Leader Destruction Squad and the Crusaders in the news.[1]
