Astroblast is a fictional character and third party Transformer homage to Generation 1 Cloudburst and Phoenix made by Play With This Too. He is an intergalactic hero.

Play With This Too
Astroblast is an intergalactic heroic character created by Play With This Too. He is a member of the Protectors and has a Tech Drone partner who can become a scout ship or disassemble into a rifle, backpack and shield.
Development
Astroblast was designed by Rik Alvarez with the help of Mark Wong. His Tech Drone was originally designed to simply turn from weapons to a scout vehicle, but was later developed to also form a simple humanoid robot by Mark Wong.
Astroblast lineart was first revealed online in September 2014.[1]
More art of Astroblast, including color illustrations, was displayed at Retrocon 2014.

The WTF@TFW podcast for Sepember 26th, 2014 discussed Astroblast in the news. The hosts though it was original and liked it and wanted to see a prototype. They didn't like the company name.[2]

The show discussed Play With This Too team members Mark Wong, Steve Redinger, Trent Troop, Ken Christiansen, Aaron Archer and Simon Furman. It also talked about the toys for Ancient Astronaut, Astroblast, Bloodbath, Boneyard, Desolataur, Jetwash and Steel Cock as well as the first three volumes of Head Shots.[9]
The Shattered Cast Uncut podcast for October 30th, 2014 discussed Ancient Astronaut, Astroblast, Bloodbath, Boneyard, Desolataur, Jetwash and Head Shots Vol. 1 through 3 in the news. The hosts liked the Pretender homages, but did not understand the Head Shots. They said some of the designs reminded them of characters from Inhumanoids, Men in Black and Ren and Stimpy.[10]

- A 6 inch tall articulated figure with interchangeable hands and heads. He has numerous 5mm connector ports.
- Comes with a rifle, shield, backpack and "hyper action whip" weapon. The shield, backpack and rifle combine into a Tech Drone partner.
- Astroblast shares some parts with Deep Earth Explorer, Goldminer and Steel Cock.
