ToledoBuzz is an American internet media, news and entertainment company with a focus on digital media. Based in Toledo, Ohio. ToledoBuzz was founded in 2023 by Justo Hernandez to focus on growing an entertainment industry in the Toledo area.
History
ToledoBuzz launched as a YouTube livestream in 2021 that would run 2-6 hours a day with back-to-back uncensored music videos by local area artists. In 2022 the brand grew into an online blog that posted accepted open submissions for music videos. ToledoBuzz grew more in popularity that year with the success of its music and news posts on Instagram. In March 2023, ToledoBuzz debuted it's first original series, ToledoBuzz's Top 10 Music Video Countdown, a countdown series starring Justo Hernandez and LaKease Hendrix. Later that year ToledoBuzz released its first original movie, titled "The Yellow Rose." "The Yellow Rose" is a music documentary following Toledo originated artist Press Play and his struggles during the debut of his album, The Yellow Rose. In 2024 ToledoBuzz will be returning with a new season of the ToledoBuzz Top 10 Music Video Countdown with higher production quality bringing onboard Nate Jimenez as director, hosted by Julia Campos and Alex Garcia with Justo Hernandez remaining executive producer.
