History

StrackaLine is a golf technology company that was founded by Jim Stracka and Chase Stracka on 20th January 2008. StrackaLine creates and supplies the detailed green guides that pros, amateurs, and regular golfers use to get a better sense of undulation, slopes, and which way balls will break on the greens.

StrackaLine is used on the PGA, LPGA, Symetra, and Web.com tours as well as more than 300 Division I college programs. It can scan a golf course in five hours. StrackaLine has mapped over 700 courses and is used by some of the best golfers in the world. The technology can be adapted in various ways, including using augmented and mixed reality.

StrackaLine books and guides are USGA legal but the USGA and R&A had to create new rules to regulate the use of this technology. StrackaLine complies with all of the rules and regulations put in place by USGA including new rules and regulations that were introduced in 2018.
