Dr. Shailesh Thaker, a global management thinker, who has successfully motivated and helped people across all continentals bring out the most efficient version of themselves. This visionary thinker has authored a few books that have helped many individuals make life-changing decisions.

He has played varied roles throughout his life, often as a management trainer and coach, Management Guru, an author in the relative genre and a popular mentor. Considering his wide range of skills, it's not wrong to say that he has successfully proven himself to be a thought leader in the community.



Early Life

Shailesh was born in 1960 in Ahmedabad, India, one of five children. His father was a well-known educator in Ahmedabad, and his mother influenced his life profoundly. After graduating from Gujarat University with a degree in commerce and education at the age of 21, he became an educator.

His master's degree in education was awarded with distinction by Gujarat University. Additionally, a Ph.D. in Cognitive Thinking from Sadar Patel University contributed greatly to the fellowship. PhDs are not the only option for people who want to ace their field of interest, as he completed a training and development certification in 1989. In 1984, he met and married his wife, Geera and got married in the same has one son Wishwang, who lives in Canada.


Training Fellowship

As a result of his hard work, Shailesh has completed all the steps of training and development, achieving the ITF (International Training Fellowship) of JCI University, Florida, USA. His number was 94 and still today, this fellowship is awarded to 137 people across the globe and he has become the third person to receive it in the SAARC region.

Career and Impact

Dr. Thaker’s journey began with a pinch of his hobby which saw him traverse Gujarat. He worked to improve people’s lives and society by helping and improving those in need. He describes how, thirty years ago, hard circumstances prevailed and that attaining quantitative achievement required labouring day and night.

Within three years of beginning his profession in training and development, Dr. Shailesh Thaker had many certificates planned. He received strong assistance from his friends and family, notably his mother and wife, who pushed him to realize his goal of becoming the best mentor. Dr Thaker says the path was fraught with challenges, but his never-say-die attitude helped him to keep moving on toward achieving his goals.

Dr. Thaker always believes: “No matter the adversity, continue to strive and move ahead with mental strength and thinking ability to achieve more.” He shares with us that weak and feeble-mindedness leads to adverse endings, so one must always focus on his strengths.

As a thought leader, Dr. Shailesh has committed 34 years of his life to helping people overcome obstacles, boost confidence, and build success. Holding an impressive record for conducting 18,500 hours of training and development in diverse modules through 1950 management workshops, addressing around 1,90,000 participants across the globe. He talks about those times when the typewriter was still in use and the internet wasn’t around. He emphasized that monetary factors played a little role compared to his actual goals. Of course, the companies he mentored made millions of dollars. He benefitted more than 100 MNCs and 400 NCs.

He has sourced and trained 550 soft skills trainers and clocked 19,550 hours of public speaking. As many as 121 self-help books have shaped the life of humanity at large in the world. Dr Thaker is the only Indian to have etched his name in the top 30 Management Gurus of the world for several years.

Furthermore, he is also serving as the chief mentor of India At 2050. This maestro is currently working on Indian wisdom, civilization and culture as well as importance of leadership and management in the current times of uncertainty.


His Philosophy

He firmly believes that “the conventional definition of management is getting work done through people, but real management is developing people through work.”

When asked what is required for writing, he replied to Hindustan Times: “Emotionally stability! I am emotionally enabled. I hardly get distributed by life or people or events. Even when someone very close to me shares the most unusual, unexpected things, most of the time, I am hardly perturbed by it.”

Shailesh was ranked among the top 100 management thinkers for the year 2010 in a study. He might be the management theorist who has the most influence on how organizations behave today. Training and Development

To his credit, he has led more than 1,384 seminars and had an impact on more than 1,96,000. He has trained more than 500 trainers in the design, development, and execution of training and development program. He has spent 11,306 training hours over the course of 20 years directing training program.

Motivational Trainer

For more than 30 years, Shailesh Thaker has given motivational lectures, mostly in India and 17 other nations. He has given speeches at seminars, workshops, and international conferences as the keynote speaker. Creating In-House Mentor for Business Houses, a 15-day curriculum he created, focuses on "the essential areas of mentoring and coaching leadership. Shailesh also leads internal training on communication and organizational behavior. To produce trainers in the community, he is running the " TRAIN THE TRAINER " program.

In addition, he was awarded by Padma Gandhi Foundation to recognize an individual in private or public life who has made a contribution toward the improvement of public personnel management.

Beginning with the ITF by JCI University USA (Third person in SAARC countries), the Outstanding Trainer by the Indian Junior Chamber, the Outstanding Citizen of the Year Award in 2001, the Outstanding Gujarat Gaurav Award in 2006, the Man of the Year Award in 2005, and the Management Ratna Award from the Padma Gandhi Foundation, he is affianced with international recognitions and biographical listings.

Additionally, due to his charisma and desire to increase profits, he has received numerous honors, including Outstanding Zone President of JCI in 1998, Outstanding LOM of the World in 1996, and Outstanding Trainer of Pakistan by Lions International Club in 2005.
