Precious Onyinye Okoye professionally known as Precious Okoye, is a versatile Nigerian talent, celebrated as a model, fashion designer, entrepreneur, humanitarian, and beauty queen.


She achieved historic milestones during the tenure of His Excellency, Sir Ben Ayade, the Governor of Cross River state, she became the first Nigerian to win Miss Africa hosted by the Governor. Notably, she also secured the Miss Africa title at the Miss Polo International 2019 event in Dubai. [1]


Career Beginnings

In 2012, while studying at the University of Lagos, she ventured into modelling, initially undertaking ushering jobs for various brands before fully embracing the industry.


Her talent and dedication propelled her to collaborate with numerous renowned brands, top fashion designers, and musical artists across Africa. [2]


Entrepreneurship and Awards

Beyond modeling, Precious founded CUTEY SALON AND BEAUTY LOUNGE, a unisex salon dedicated to promoting beauty in Africa through natural products and self-care. Her advocacy extends to promoting beauty standards across the continent.


Throughout her career, she has garnered several awards and nominations. Notable among these are the Meritorious Award as Student Model of the Year, Female Model of the Year at the Eko Heritage Awards, Model of the Year at the Yoruba Achievers Awards, and Outstanding Model of the Year at the Icons Noble Award. Pageantry and Philanthropy

Precious has participated in various pageants, winning the Face of Black Opal Nigeria in 2017 and Miss Polo Nigeria in 2019. She represented Nigeria at the Miss Polo International competition, emerging as Miss Polo Africa 2019.


Deeply committed to philanthropy, she advocates for agro-industrialization to promote agriculture across Africa. She established an NGO dedicated to this cause and volunteers with the United Nations for global initiatives. [4]


She won Miss Africa in 2022, which spanned for 2 years. She also became a member of the FRSC CELEBRITY MARSHAL. [5]

She has also worked with several fashion designers such as Toju Foyeh, Kikstylish, Anncranberry, Prudential Styling, George by Ruvero Design, Afrik Couture, Kiki Okewale, Modellaserah, Mofari, Shawlercouture, Oni Gele, Ehi. Ehii , Trish O Couture and Elizabethan.


She has starred in Musical Videos Such as Lolo by Omah Lay, Yes or No by Dj Kaywise Ft T-classic, Call on Me by Emeka Official, Take Am by Spotless Ft Olamide, Body Lyrical Video by Funbi Ft Seyi Shay, Jericho by Simi Ft Patoranking, Dignity by Angelique Kidjo Ft Yemi Alade, Galadinma by Damzit Ft Ice Prince, Afro Jigga by Ladipoe, Free Way by Tripcy Ft Davido. Additionally, Precious made cameo appearances in notable productions such as "Living in Bondage: The Sequel," "Symphony: The Movie," and the "Big Brother Nigeria Carnival Calabar."[7]
