Nigel Green

Nigel Green (born June 19) is a British entrepreneur focused on financial advisory, fintech, asset management, and private international banking. He is the CEO and founder of deVere Group[1][2] and the major shareholder of more than 90 legal entities globally.

Career

Financial advisor

He started his professional career as a financial advisor at Liberty Life in London. Later, he went to overseas unexpectedly for business purposes and developed an understanding of a new kind of advisory for international investors and expatriates.[3][4]

Green established deVere & Partners, a Luxembourg-registered company, for expatriates to offer first-class international financial services.[5]

In 2002, Green launched an independent international financial consultancy, deVere Group, in Hong Kong to help clients achieve their medium and long-term financial goals. It provides personalized financial advice on international investment management, savings, pensions, bonds, life insurance, and structured products.[6][7][8][9] The company has over 80,000 high-net-worth, expat, and international investor clients worldwide and over US$10 billion under advice and management.[10][11]

In 2018, he launched a cryptocurrency exchange app, deVere Crypto, with a strong belief that digital currencies are the future of money.[12] This led to the launch of other fintech apps as he believes that technology, alongside bespoke financial advice, is the future of financial services.

Thai government advisor

Green was appointed to the National Innovation Agency of Thailand in 2022, a leading public organization on innovation development and promotion in Thailand, to enhance the country’s performance at the international level. It launched an International Advisory Board (IAB), a top-tier international committee of experts from different fields to provide global perspectives and advice.
