Biography
Mawlana Mufti Rakibul Islam Hojaify is an Islamic Scholar. He is also a Nasheed Artist[1][2] Writer, Islamic Speecher[3] and Calligrapher from Bangladesh. He was Born on 15 October 1995 in Rajbari District. He only sings Islamic songs. He became a popular scholar, speecher, singer and writer all over Bangladesh. He has written many books and articles. His articles have been published in newspapers of various countries including England and Spain. He gives religious lectures in many places.
Education
Mufti Rakibul Islam Hojaify's family lived in Dhaka, so he grew up in Dhaka from his childhood. After obtaining his Higher Secondary School Certificate in Dhaka, he became known in the music world before completing his graduation degree. But he entered the world of music from the age of 17. He then obtained his Master's degree in Arabic and Islamic Studies from Darul Uloom Hathazari, the largest Arabic University in Bangladesh. Then there he obtained the highest degree on Islamic Law and Fatawa.
Career
Mufti Rakibul Islam Hojaify sings songs predominantly in Bengali. Moreover, he also composed Arabic, English and Urdu songs. His first album Mohima was a huge hit among the youth. His Nasheed 'Tobo name gan' was published for the first time on the Bangladeshi TV channel Vijay TV. The English albums ‘I feel alive’, ‘Jibone ase koto bondhu’ and 'Tobo name gan' follows closely in popularity. Mufti Rakibul Islam Hojaify mainly sings peaceful songs. He has also sung with some very popular artistes.
He is also a writer. He has written many books and articles. His articles have been published in newspapers of various countries including England. He also writes poetry in his spare time. He also won awards for writing. Notable among the books written by him are 'Ma'refatul Alqab', 'Rawza Sharif History' etc.
Family
Mufti Rakibul Islam Hojaify consists of parents, two brothers and one sister. Mufti Rakib Hojaify's father's name is Md Barek Hossain. His younger brother is also a most popular singer and music composer in Bangladesh. His younger brother is AL Maruf. AL Maruf is a founder of Studio fly.[4]
Personal Life
He is married and has no children till now. He is always busy with his music work, writing, speeching and research.
