Mecharock is made of gold. Mecharock is a joker that likes to make everyone laugh. He is very fast. He can gather intelligence with his eyes that work like a high-powered scope. He can recharge his allies using Super Energy Power from his golden body. He can turn into a large gold rock. He stand 4 feet 6 inches tall and weighs 1600 pounds. Because of his mechanoid nature he does not need to breath oxygen. Like most Rock People he is probably immune to the effect of acid and magnetic fields which adversely affect metal mechanoids. Fictional biography
Character and ability I love jokes, gag makers who make everyone laugh. Very exciting, both eyes are high performance scope so I'm good at Information Atsume. For the golden body you can do super energy power to recover your physical strength.

After their leader Battlerock was injured by the Gandora in Machine Robo: Revenge of Cronos episode 20, "The Man From Gandora", Gutsrock took leadership their group, which included Mecharock. The good Rock People mistook Rom Stol and his friends as their enemies because Rom had helped Devilrock Clay, but Battlerock ordered his people to stop fighting. After Devilrock Clay died protecting Reina Stol, Battlerock and his Rock People attended the funeral.[2]
A village of Rock People, who resembled Battlerock, Gutstock and Mecharock, lead by the elderly Java appear in episode 22, "Rockdon Versus Rockgilen".[3]
Battlerock and Mecharock appear in episode 25, "Scramble! Land Commander 5". They are seen talking in the city control room while defense against the Gandora is being planned. Mecharock later celebrates the victory of Land Commander 5.[4]
Battlerock, Gutsrock and Mecharock appear in episode 29, "Escape From the Underground - Pro Truck Racer Appears!". They aid Rom Stol's forces against magnetic mines, which are not attracted to their stone bodies. The Rock People aided in recovering Tough Trailer when he was trapped underground.[5]
Battlerock, Gutsrock and Mecharock defend the Battle Base construction site from the Gandora in episode 34, "Vikung-Fu Disappears in Space".[6]
Battlerock, Gutsrock and Mecharock were among the reinforcements Blue Jet brought in to help save Rubyman from the Gandora in episode 35, "The Secret of the Jewel People".[7]
In episode 36, "Cannon Fury - Save Amberman", Battlerock, Gutsrock and Mecharock welcomed Amberman into the Battle Base forces when he was invited by Rom Stol to join them.[8]
Note: Many of the Rock People in Machine Robo: Revenge of Cronos look like Mecharock. Since he is never mentioned by name is it uncertain which of the Rock People who resemble him in the series may be the actual Mecharock. Mecharock voice actor Katsumi Suzuki has also played the voices of Generation 1 Transformers characters Rumble, Streak and Wheeljack.
