Career At the age of 16, he began working in radio journalism. At the age of 20, he began teaching secondary education at INED – Institute of Education and Development, in Maia, where he worked for more than a decade coordinating the Social Communication Technological Course. He was part of the humanist movement in Portugal, later calling himself the Humanist Party in Portugal. Bachelor's degree in Journalism at the Porto Superior School of Journalism and Degree in Communication Sciences at Fernando Pessoa University. He studied History of Portugal at the Open University From an early age, he invested in training in the areas of communication, psychology, and protocol, highlighting the courses, High Impact Presentations at the Dale Carnegie School, in Rio de Janeiro, the Protocol Course and the Educating and Thinking Through Thought Course Positivo, at the University of Salamanca and a postgraduate degree in Communication Law at the University of Coimbra. He was a professor of presentation techniques in MBA courses at IESF – Institute of Higher Financial and Fiscal Studies, Valadares. For 13 years he was a trainer for the world's biggest youth public speaking challenge, the Speak Out Challenge organized by the UK-based Jack Petchey Foundation.

Teacher of Public Speaking Techniques. He is a guest speaker to participate in several colloquiums and seminars on Communication. Author of several opinion articles in various publications. He is currently President of Top Talks – Portuguese Public Speaking Association.
