Jeff Spain

Jeff Spain (born November 20, 1980) as Ebenezer Jeffrey Manly-Spain is a Ghanaian[1][2] American actor and urban contemporary singer who is best known for his appearance on the second season of the gospel singing competition television show Sunday Best on Black Entertainment Television. In 2012, Jeff premiered in his own reality Tv show, titled “Almost Married,” alongside his former co-star Latice Crawford, which aired on Centric TV a division of Black Entertainment Television.The series, focused on music, matrimony and the multi-cultural dynamics of their relationship.

Early life

Spain was born in the Bronx, New York. Growing up as the oldest of three children, Jeff knew early that both music and entertainment would play a major role in his life. He would soon discover his vocal talents while singing during his class breaks, often impressing his classmates and teachers alike. Jeff went onto refine his sound by performing classic R&B tunes at various venues around Manhattan, New York. During enrollment at his university he would eventually get to perform on a collegiate level. Honing his skill, he sought every opportunity to sing in front of large audiences and made his way unto different stages all across the Long Island area of New York, including stages at Hofstra University, Old Westbury and Long Island University C.W. Post.

Music Career

Jeff Spain gained notoriety during his performance on BET Sunday Best[3], where he finished in the top ten of the popular show. In 2014, Spain released his long awaited single entitled “ Higher” He is also known for his portrayal of the beloved character “Stephan” on the hit online web series “An African City.”

Personal Life

He is the Founder of “MAN-CODE” a movement in Western Africa which helps young men find their purpose and realize their fullest potential. Spain is also a certified relationship life coach.
