Career & Life Style
Dr Krissy Jones started her career path in the health and social care sector, functioning as a care manager due to a deep-seated obligation to help people in need. The education sector was the next transition, aspiring to help mentor individuals into a brighter future with knowledge as the conduit. However, her desire to impart a higher education led her down a different path.[3]
The path toward training allowed a wider scope of education and marked the official entry into the realm of entrepreneurship. Dr Jones established two training companies from the ground up. One saw remarkable growth, ballooning from a modest £2,000 loan to an astonishing £11 million in two years.[4]
During the uncertainties of the COVID-19 pandemic, Dr Jones successfully ventured into the retail sector and launched a thriving business. Armed with $60,000 in seed money from the sale of her car, the company achieved profits of $11 million by the second year. Later, after overcoming adversity through the unexpected loss of her income and subsequently facing homelessness herself, she was inspired to set up the Trilogy Trust Foundation to help families in similar circumstances. Dr Krissy Jones is the founder of a charity called The Trilogy Trust Foundation which she created after facing eviction and hardship herself. The foundation utilizes family resources and external contributions within a self-sustaining framework, to alleviate economic distress and avert homelessness. They offer financial assistance to individuals confronting eviction and facilitate transitions to alternative accommodations. Moreover, they extend mentorship in eviction management, financial literacy, and entrepreneurship, alongside grants aimed at fostering sustainable employment or self-employment. Collaborating with fellow nonprofits, they strive to bolster families in crisis, including funding outreach initiatives aiding impoverished households. During festive seasons such as Christmas and Thanksgiving, they extend family sponsorship programs to spread warmth and support. [9]
