Early Life
He has more than 16 years of experience. Dr. Pravin works as Consultant at Breach Candy Hospital currently. He did MBBS, D.N.B (Gen. Surgery), FAIS, FACRSI. Dr. Gore was among the first person to establish Botex treatment for Anal Fissure and BUSH (bloodless ultrasonic haemorrhoidectomy) and perianal procedures in India. He is a Product development Surgical Specialist also. Dr. Pravin Gore married to Trupti and has two daughters.
Dr. Pravin aims to establish a Proctology & Pelvic Floor Super-Specialty Unit in Mumbai, INDIA. Dr. Pravin Padmakumar is a Jain – Digambar – Dhakad/Laad by Religion. He did his schooling from Lady of Good Counsel High School, Sion, Mumbai, India in the year (1978-1989). He has completed this inter education from SIES Science College, Sion, Mumbai, India(1990-1991).He has done his M.B.B.S from Pune University, N.D.M.V.P Samaj’s Medical College, Nasik, M.S. INDIA in the year 1995 and diplomate of National Board from National Board of Examinations, New Delhi, St.Theresa’s Hospital, Hyderabad, A.P.-India (2000). Dr. Pravin has done his F.A.C.R.S.I. in Fellow of Association of Colon & Rectal Surgeons of India (2006) and F.A.I.S. in Association of Surgeons of India, Chennai (2008).
He has completed his Fellowship International – Advanced Colo-Proctology from Heartlands hospital, NHS Foundation Trust – Birmingham, England, United Kingdom (U.K.) in the year 2010 and Fellowship in Laparoscopic Colorectal Surgery in European Society of Coloproctology University Tor Vergata, Rome - Italy in the year 2014.
