Thundershread is a fictional character and third party Transformer created by FansProject. He is an homage to the 1985 Transformers character Shrapnel. Reprolabels has released a set of labels for Thundershread that makes him look more like Generation 1 Shrapnel.

Transformers

Thundershread is a fictional character created by FansProject and is an homage to Generation 1 Shrapnel. In early concept art he was called Stormshread.

FansProject first teased outlines of Thundershread in December of 2010. They revealed the name and a grayscale picture of Thundershread in January 2011.

Thundershread was released in August of 2011.

Fictional biography

A wounded outer space warrior, Thundershred was recovered and converted into his current form by the powerful Skycrow. Learning the ancient art of Ninjutsu and the philosophy of Godai, he has harnessed his power of control over the element "Sky". Using his refined skills and weaponry, Thundershred has vowed to seek revenge on all who have wronged him.
