Divine Uzama (born December 4, 2002), known professionally as Zerry DL, is a Nigerian rapper. He pursued a recording career in 2021 and released his debut single, "Puff & Pass" in 2023. He signed with Plutomania Records to release his debut extended play, Danger Zee (2023).

Early life

Divine Uzama was born in Benin City. Uzama is the second oldest of four siblings, his older brother is singer Shallipopi.[1][2]

Career

On July 9, 2023, Zerrydl released his breakout single "Puff & Pass", which debuted at number eight on the TurnTable Top Street Pop songs.[3][4][5] In October 2023, Zerry signed a recording deal with Plutomania Records.[6] On October 20, 2023, he released the remix of "Puff & Pass", featuring singer Shallipopi.[7][8] The song's remix video was released on October 25, 2023.[9] He collaborated with Shallipopi, appearing on "Wet on Me" off the album Presido La Pluto.[10][11] Its accompanying music video was released on April 3, 2024.[12] On 15 December 2023, he released his debut EP Danger Zee, which debuted at number 14 on the TurnTable Top 50,[13] and also debuted on Apple Music Top albums.[14] Its second single "Popo" reached number 54 on Nigeria Spotify Daily chart.[15] On April 11, 2024, Zerry DL was featured on Shallipopi's "Billion", alongside Tegaboi dc, off the album Shakespopi.[16] "Billion" debuted at Number 14 on the TurnTable Top 100.[17][18]
