Overview

Headquartered in Newport Beach, CA, Wainwright Global Institute of Professional Coaching was founded in 2006 by Barbara Wainwright. It offers online professional coach training and certification to HR personnel, project managers, and team leaders to help them motivate and inspire employees to perform at optimum levels with sustainable results. Wainwright Global has a varied range of clients, including Boeing and Amazon.

Wainwright Global offers training in multiple coaching disciplines: Certified Professional Coach, Certified Relationship Coach, Certified Recovery Coach, Certified Spiritual Coach and more. The time required to complete this education training ranges from 12 to 16 hours depending on the depth and desired outcome of the study. The 16-hour flagship course results in the Certified Professional Coach credential CPC which is a US Registered Trademark. and the WGI’s Life Coach Training Course also includes 3rd party credentialing through the Strategic Learning Alliance.

The Wainwright Method of Training

Wainwright Global’s systematic, hands-on approach to teaching the skills, techniques, and methodologies of professional life coaching makes it easy for WGI graduates to learn how to deliver an exceptional coaching experience to each and every client. The proven life coaching system and ongoing support give its graduates the confidence and knowledge they need to become the most effective and successful life coaches.

In 2013, WGI’s coaching curriculum gained accreditation at the university graduate level through Seattle Pacific University. The institution’s 3rd Party Accrediting Body is the Strategic Learning Alliance (SLA) which established an evidence-based method to identify the needs of the coaching industry based on the perspective of students and clients. In doing so, SLA continuously tested against the Department of Education, the AACSB, and the Society of Human Resource Management's standards and desired competencies. SLA spent ten years testing, measuring, and demonstrating adherence to their performance needs in addition to the expectations of students and clients to establish independent measurements.

Publication

Wainwright Global Institute of Professional Coaching collaborated with 15 of their Certified Professional Coaches to publish three books for individuals who are curious about coaching and what the experience of coaching can do for them.

Founder

Barbara Wainwright, the CEO of Wainwright Global is a sought-after teacher in the coaching and self-empowerment industry. She is known for training and certifying over 6,000 professional coaches worldwide since 2006 and for empowering individuals to actualize their life purpose, live inspired lives, and connect with their true passion. Barbara is an international speaker, trainer, and author who has written three books.
