I tagged File:BryanBS.png with {{db-copyright}} because I doubt you own the intellectual property rights to this email. Geo Swan (talk) 18:56, 20 March 2024 (UTC)

As far as I'm aware said email has become public information thanks to Coffeezilla's reporting. It was given willingly by Bryan Seiler's aunt. I have added the references in the article is used in. I'm also willing to edit anything in the file to add any lacking reference. I have big doubts there is intellectual property related to a piece of communication that was disclosed, but I could be wrong. WhereIsTheMoneyBryan
  • I don't know what you mean by "public information". Having an image you own republished does not make it public domain.
Coffeezilla may have re-used images he didn't own under a claim of "fair use". Or he may have rolled the dice, and figured it was unlikely he would be sued. Wikialpha's inclusion rules are a lot looser than wikipedia's. But, it is my interpretation that under wikialpha's rules, like the wikipedia, images here are not supposed to be copyright violations.
Coffeezilla may have re-used an image in a way that protected him for a claim of copyright violation, under "fair use", while your re-use of his re-used image would not qualify for that protection.
A pretty small fraction of the images found on the wikipedias are images that are not "free". Each of those images has a "non-free use rationale". The first rule for those images is that they get deleted if they are not being used in an article.
What do you know about the exceptions available under "fair use"? Look it up. I'll help you, if you start by doing your homework around "fair use".
more images I tagged for deletion...
Yes, almost none of the images uploaded to wikialpha has a link back to the source page. It is likely that about half of those image would not survive the kind of challenge I made here. That might not seem fair, to you. But those images I didn't challenge were not part of an effort focussed on challenging an individual.
Mr Seiler can have more information added to his article - even information he doesn't like - if it has good referencing. That is my interpretation, anyhow. Geo Swan (talk) 10:59, 23 March 2024 (UTC)

A still disagree to a lot said here. But that's mostly due to the fact than I am an "not-clever"(in other to not use more colorful language). It'll be some time before I get this "fair-use" straight. So the waiting game begins.
