That was in 2004. Apart from his studies, he started working in the media as an apprentice of the weekly newspaper. He was also a member of the General Assembly of the Jatiya Sangbadik Sangsta. He has also been the Organizing Secretary of the Sylhet Division Mofossol Sangbadik Forum for a long time. He is also the Central Co-Organizing Secretary of Bangladesh News Online Portal Association (BONPA), an organization of online news portal owners.

He is now known as an icon among the young people involved in online journalism in Sylhet, especially in Bangladesh. Inspired by seeing him, many young people are now joining the online journalism profession.
