HISTORY

TruNorth Pest Control was founded by Jeff Swaney and Joe Sheffield, aiming to deliver premium service in pest, termite, mosquito, and wildlife control. The name "TruNorth" reflects the company's commitment to achieving their goals and upholding their beliefs, with a foundation built on doing everything right the first time, honoring clients and employees, continuous improvement, and giving back to the community​ At TruNorth we have two basic beliefs: All things are possible and we all deserve to be loved and respected. PEST CONTROL: When you first discover bugs in your home it can be tempting to try “do it yourself” methods. They seem hassle-free at first but in the long run, can be more trouble than they are worth. These DIY methods usually only solve a small part of the problem. At TruNorth Pest Control we have professionally certified bug control specialists that are experts in extermination. We offer safe methods that are hard on bugs, but safe for you. MOSQUITO & TICK CONTROL: Our local pest control experts will mist your yard to help reduce the number of both mosquitos and ticks. We will treat locations where ticks like to hide like to land like shrubs, trees, and grass. For mosquitos, we’ll also treat any water sources with larvicide to help eliminate the current population and prevent repopulation. Our solutions not only reduce the current population of mosquitos and ticks, but also prevent new ones from forming.

TERMITE CONTROL: Our termite control experts use two different types of treatment systems to eliminate termites. Our baiting system is a chemical-free way of getting rid of termites. Once the termites start to eat from the baiting system, we will introduce a termite toxicant that eliminates worker termites and puts stress on the queen and her soldiers. Our termite baiting systems are an effective solution for extermination and also work year-round for continuous termite prevention.

Liquid Termite Treatment The other method of termite control is using a liquid treatment. Our termite control professionals will use an application method called “trenching.” During this process, they will apply termiticides to the foundation of your home. Sometimes this process will include “rodding,” which is when our treatment specialists drill holes in surfaces next to the foundation. The rodding process helps provide protection against termites. If needed we’ll also treat the inside of your home to help further protect from termites.

WILDLIFE CONTROL: Removing wildlife that has entered your home is only part of our job. When our wildlife control experts inspect your home they’ll also identify any and all entry holes. We will then professionally seal them to ensure the animals can’t get back in once they’ve been removed. When you call us for wildlife control in Georgia and Florida you can expect: Traps set up by wildlife removal experts. Recurring trap check-ins to ensure capture. Free repairs to any further entry holes after removal. Humane Removal in accordance with Georgia law. Critters that like to burrow can disrupt your lawn. Some animals can even cause structural damage to the outside of your home. After removing the animal we will also make sure to help clean up any damage caused to your property. All of our professional repairs come with a warranty, so if any more disruptions occur we will take care of them for free. Got a raccoon or opossum in your garbage can? We can take care of that too! Animals outside the house can also cause issues for those inside the house. Raccoons, opossums, and skunks can cause odor problems. They also can carry diseases that are harmful to humans. At TruNorth, we believe in humane trapping and removing animals is the best way to handle wildlife control.
