Education

He obtained his Bachelor’s Degree in History from Pierce College at Puyallup in 2005.

Career

Travis joined the US Army in 2002, he served as an infantry soldier in the United States Army for over 14 years.

He deployed numerous times in order to support Operation Iraqi Freedom. He retired from the Army in 2016.

His decision to speak and counsel others was as a result of an encounter with his son, between his deployments, training exercises, drill sergeant duty, and numerous shifts in the military; and also spending 70 hrs a week chasing someone else’s goals, he realised none of those times were spent with his son.[2]

It was then he decided to pursue his goals and dreams, enjoying his passion coaching and counselling others to be the best version of themselves and to see them succeed.

In 2020, Travis started his speaking and coaching career and has spoken to over 300,000 people. His weekly podcast “Above Average Podcast with Travis and Jesse” is in the top 0.5% of all podcasts worldwide.[3]

The podcast aims at empowering people from all parts of the world to pursue and live the life they love, alongside utilising candid real world stories, resilience, and interpersonal skills.

Aside from being a Speaker and Coach, he also works with entrepreneurs and leaders in various fields, helping them maximise their time, talents, and overall impact in their field.
