Tony Vázquez-Figueroa

Tony Vázquez-Figueroa (born July 13, 1970) is a Venezuelan visual artist.[1] He uses crude oil as his key material in his work. [2][3]

Early life and education

Vázquez was born in Caracas, Venezuela. He received a BFA from Emmerson College. He studied art at the San Alejandro Academy of the Arts in Cuba, the New York Studio School and the Slade School of Painting at the University College of London.[3][4]

Career

Vázquez-Figueroa specializes in his work by using crude oil as the key material in his work.[2][3][5]
