Usage
This meta-template is used as a core to build inline citation templates.
Parameters
- P1, P2, P3, P4, P5: Up to four authors and date
- REF: ID for anchor. By default, an anchor is always generated from the authors and date. The ordinary nonempty value
|ref=ID
generates an anchor with the given ID; such a linkable reference can be made the target of wikilinks to full references, especially useful in short citations like shortened notes and parenthetical referencing. The special value|ref=harv
generates an anchor suitable for the {{harv}} template; see anchors for Harvard referencing templates. - Page: Page number
- PageSep: Separator before page number
- Pages: Page range
- PagesSep: Separator before page range
- Location: Other locations in the source
- BracketLeft: Left bracket enclosing the inline citation
- BracketRight: Right bracket enclosing the inline citation
- BracketYearLeft: Left bracket enclosing the year
- BracketYearRight: Right bracket enclosing the year
- Postscript: Terminating punctuation
