Simanto Sajal (Born 25 February 1979) is a Bangladeshi filmmaker, script writer & drama director.[1] He was awarded the CJFB Performance Award 2019 for the best drama "Durga O Bonjochonar Golpo 2019." [2] [3] He directed many remarkable dramas and several television dramas.[4][5]

Early life

Sajal was born in Monohorgonj, Cumilla . His father is Md Jahangir Alam & mother Mrs. Lutfun Nahar Begum. Sajal was passionate about the media arena from early childhood and eventually built up his career in a certain field.[6]

Education

Sajal completed Master of Arts (Bangla) from Jagannath University. [6]

Career

Sajal began his career as a director in a television drama in 2017. His first single episode drama "Mrittika and Maria's Story" was played on NTV which was written by Zaheer Karim.[7] [8]
