Shaurav Das
Shaurav Das a popular Bangladeshi keyboardist, was born and raised in the city of Khulna.[1]Since childhood, his passionate love for music, tied with his fascination for musical instruments, particularly the keyboard, was evident. From a young age, his affection for both singing and playing instruments was remarkable. In 2007, he embarked on a professional journey as a keyboard player, alongside his academic pursuits. Over the years, Shaurav Das has not only polished his skills but also shared his passion with others. His keyboard melodies have mesmerized thousands of music enthusiasts in Khulna and beyond. Moving to Dhaka in 2014, Shaurav Das faced the challenge of establishing himself in the vibrant music scene of the capital. Despite initial hurdles, he worked relentlessly and started engaging actively in performances alongside renowned artists such as Subir Nandi, Rizia Parveen, Sabina Yasmin, Mila, Dinat Jahan Munni, SI Tutul, Swapnil Sabbir, Pulok, and bands like Different Touch, among others.[2]
Career
Currently, in conjunction with popular stars and studio sessions, Shaurav Das is an integral member of contemporary singer Reshmi Mirza's band - "Mati". Shaurav Das has also showcased his talent as an artist on Gaan Bangla Television, the only dedicated Music Channel of Bangladesh, further solidifying his presence and impact in the country's music industry. Internationally, Shaurav Das has been honored with a Certificate of Recognition from the Mayor and City Council of the City of Perris for his participation in 'Lalon Mela USA 2023.' Furthermore, he received a Certificate of Recognition from the Councilmember of the 4th District, representing the City of Los Angeles, for his outstanding representation of the Bangladeshi community during the 2023 Bangladesh Independence Day Parade and Festival. Moreover, Shaurav Das was commended by the U.S. Embassy in Dhaka, Bangladesh, with a Letter of Appreciation for his passion, dedication and involvement in the American Center's special World Environment Day edition of Music Buzz in 2020. Through his musical expertise and commitment, Shaurav Das continues to make significant contributions to the music industry, representing Bangladesh both locally and on the global stage. His dedication has garnered him recognition and appreciation on & off paper, continuously adding to his list of musical accomplishments.
