Sandy Botros is an American-Egyptian founder, clinical researcher, college instructor and Academic coach.[1]

Early life
Sandy Botros moved with her family from Egypt to the United States of America in 2012 when she was twelve years old. In the same year she received “The student of the year” award from her Middle school. In addition, she received “The president Gold” Award which was signed by the former president Barack Obama. In 2018, Botros was named the Dickinson High school class of 2018 Valedictorian.
Education
Sandy is currently studying at two Universities, she is studying to become a physician while also working towards her Masters of healthcare Administration.
Occupation
Sandy is an English/writing tutor at Rutgers University, she is a college instructor teaching Organic chemistry and other transition courses to first year students. On top of that Botros also works as an Academic coach at Rutgers University helping students meet their academic goals.
Research
Botros is a clinical researcher, she received the research membership from both New Jersey Alliance for Clinical and Translational Science (NJACTS) and Rutgers Institute for Translational Medicine and Science (RITMS) in 2021. She has two published studies on Covid-19 and the impacts of online learning on college students as well as a research on the Clinical Trials Management system Oncore.[2]
WomenCanlead
In 2021, Sandy started her own non-profit organization/ blog WomenCanLead in which she is the founder and president for. WomenCanLead is designed to inspire young women and encourage them to get involved in every career possible. Since women are usually underrepresented in STEM majors, especially research, her organization is helping girls start careers in those fields and break the limits of their dreams. Through her organization, Botros specifically targets first generation and international students who are in more need of assistance She also held many leadership positions in National Organizations such as the National Honor society of Leadership and Success.

Botros received many awards from Hudson county and the state of New Jersey for academic achievements. She also received the presidential award for academic excellence which was signed by the former President Barack Obama. She is a member of the Institute for Translational Medicine and Science RITMS and an active member of The New Jersey Alliance for Clinical and Translational Science, gaining both memberships after completing research on The Clinical Trials Management System: Oncore. She is included within the community of Translational researchers at both Rutgers and The State of New Jersey. She was recently nominated for the 2022 Most Inspiring Women Award from the United Kingdom.[3]
Beauty Pageants
With other 127 contestants Botros, recently participated at Miss New Jersey USA pageant with the title Miss Liberty and prosperity USA 2023 as a state finalist representing all the Arab girls who look like her. She also competed at the East Coast USA pageant with other 225 contestants where she was able to claim a runner- up[4]
