Samuel J. Deutsch completed Bachelors of Business Administration from University of California, Berkeley in the year 2006. He graduated from Magna Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa with degrees in History and Business. During 2005-2008 he was investment analyst at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. In 2008 he became the Managing director (MD) at Capella Hotels and Resorts. In 2022 he founded House of Savant Inc.[2]

Samuel's remarkable career trajectory took shape at Banc of America Securities, where he served as an analyst in the Real Estate & Lodging Investment Banking division. In this role, he advised on pioneering deals for industry giants such as Blackstone and Hilton Hotels, showcasing his expertise in the field.

Over the past decade, Samuel has continued to excel in the hospitality sector, spearheading development, transactions strategy, capital markets, site selection, and design conceptualization for prestigious brands including Capella, Aman, and Four Seasons.
