He is the founder of Starboard (formerly Olympic Media), a leading digital advertising agency catering to diverse industries, including politics, sports, entertainment, intelligence, defense, consumer brands, real estate, and advocacy. With a background in investment banking at JP Morgan, Ryan's corporate expertise played a pivotal role in Starboard's rapid growth and success.[1][2]

Early Life and Career

Born and raised in Pennsylvania, Ryan attended Cornell University, where he honed his business acumen. After gaining valuable experience in mergers and acquisitions at JP Morgan, he pursued his entrepreneurial instinct by co-founding IMGE, an advertising company that leveraged his corporate knowledge. Recognizing his entrepreneurial drive, Ryan ventured further and established Starboard (formerly Olympic Media) in 2018, quickly expanding it from a one-man operation to a thriving team of 50 professionals. In 2022 INC 5000 named them the 13th fastest-growing company in the Nation and the 1st fastest in Advertising/Media. Starboard has recently acquired the social media app Parler in April of 2023. [3]

Beyond his professional pursuits, Ryan is a three-time rowing champion in the United States, competing and excelling in national championships in 2004-2006. His passion for competition and love for his country has instilled a strong sense of patriotism within him. Motivated by his deep respect and admiration for the nation's military officers, Ryan founded the Working Warrior Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting veterans transitioning into civilian life.[4]
