Ross Jenkins (4 October 1991) is a British entrepreneur[1] and author at Entrepreneur magazine.[2]

Life and career

Ross was born on 4th October 1991 in Nuneaton and grew up in Kenilworth, Warwickshire.[3] At present, he resides in Valencia, Spain.[4]

Jenkins started his career at SearchLotto, a search engine powered by Yahoo which allows searchers to be rewarded for searching by gifting them lottery tickets.[5]

While working for SearchLotto, Ross started AirMaxME which consisted of using his social media tactics to rapidly increase his Air Max Facebook, which grew to over 300,000 likes on Facebook and over 500,000 downloads on the Android App store.[6] The following year, Ross founded SMStoPayPal which allows users to convert money from their mobile phone into PayPal credit using premium-rate numbers.

Two years later, Ross joined Nigel Botterill’s Entrepreneur Circle as a Marketing Manager leading a Premier Team with his knowledge of the digital web. In 2015 Ross started working for KH BIS in Qatar, the United Arab Emirates.[7] In 2017, Alison.com brought on Ross Jenkins to head up their marketing division, which involved launching their new website, Alison.com is one of the leading online education sites, which boasts over 10m users.[8]

Ross then joined Upwork in 2018, as a freelancer specialising in Digital Marketing, specifically CRM automation and email marketing, within 3 years of operating and opening his own agency, DigitalME, Ross has earned over $1m, making him one of the highest-earning freelancers on Upwork. Along with running DigitalME & freelancing, Ross joined Entrepreneur magazine as a contributor in 2021, writing articles on business, growth, and marketing.[9]
