PrototypeRadio® is an American Electronic Music broadcaster created and hosted by Steven Garza[1] that first launched online in January 2010 as an electronic music radio station featuring various genres in the electronic music format.

A radio program version of the online radio station was created on February 11, 2012, and broadcast on two iHeartMedia owned radio stations in Atlanta, Georgia, on 105.7 WWVA-FM[2] and 96.7 WWLG-FM and on their HD2 stations. PrototypeRadio® features exclusive interviews and DJ mixes from some of the most established musicians in Electronic music. Notably PrototypeRadio was the first radio program to feature the legendary electronic music band Orbital (band)[3] on US terrestrial radio and iHeartRadio.

The program was one of the first programs of its kind in American terrestrial radio as DJ mix shows traditionally consisted of local DJs who mix dance remixes of the radio station's playlist.

PrototypeRadio® reached national syndication on iHeartRadio after its 6th[4] episode and was featured 5[5] times a week in various dayparts on iHeartRadio's EDM channel Electric Sound Stage across the United States.

PrototyeRadio® was nominated for Best Syndicated Mix Show in its first year of broadcasting by radio industry trade magazine and music service PromoOnly,[6] and spoke on several expert panels with notable industry professionals such as Paul Van Dyk, David Waxman and other record label executives.

The brand relaunched on March 10, 2022, as a 24/7 online radio station[7] and on Amazon Music, Spotify, iHeartRadio, Pandora, and Twitch[8] featuring some of the same programming models used previously.
