Prince Cseszneky is a title of nobility held by the head of the House of Cseszneky, whereas other family members bear the title of Count and Countess Cseszneky. The title refers to the surname of the family, which itself derives from the name of their ancestral seat, Csesznek Castle, in Hungary.

Count Miklós Cseszneky was granted princely status along with the Javanese princely title of Kangjeng Pangeran (abbreviated as KP.) by the King of Mangkualaman (Pakualaman), which is a constitutionally recognised monarchy in Indonesia. Subsequently, further royal houses accorded hereditary princely status to the holder.

The current head of the family is His Serene Highness Prince Miklós Cseszneky, Kangjeng Pangeran (KP) Cseszneky.

The heir apparent is the present holder's son Count Hunor Attila Cseszneky, Hereditary Count Cseszneky and Kangjeng Raden Temunggung Hario (KRTH) Cseszneky.
