Akash Iqbal is a Bangladeshi journalist and Author. However, his real name is Md. Iqbal Hossain.Born and raised in Mirsarai upazila of Chittagong. He loves to read and write about society, state, politics and people. Archeology also fascinates him. He is a researcher. He and his wife have been working for a long time on the history, heritage and culture of Chattogram. At present he is working on the history and heritage of Mirsarai area under Sector 1 of the Great Liberation War.

Early life
There is a deep interest in reading books since childhood. There is a lot of interest in Bengali literature, politics, science, history and tradition. During his school days, he developed the habit of writing in local LittleMag and newspapers. And that later played a big role in regularizing him in writing. He has gained a lot of fame through journalism and writing.
Study
He started his education at Hadimusha Government Primary School. He then completed his secondary from Mithanala High School and his higher secondary from Mirsarai University College. He completed his Bachelor of Arts degree at the National University.
Career
Akash Iqbal started his career as a journalist in the fortnightly Khabarica. Since then, Mirsarai has acted as a correspondent in several national dailies. Iqbal Hossain moved to Chittagong in 2017. He joined the daily Amar Praner Bangladesh as a senior staff reporter. In 2019, he worked for the daily Supravhat Bangladesh. He is currently working as the editor of an online Newspaper Chattogram Samachar(www.chattogramsamachar.com).
