Pixis Drones is an American company offering customized drone light shows across the United States and Canada.^[1]

Overview

Founded in 2021, Pixis Drones is headquartered in Alexandria, Virginia. Pixis delivers drone light shows for artists and brands using advanced technology, experienced producers, and FAA-certified drone pilots flying the drones.^[2]^[3]^[4]^[5] Since its founding, the company has executed drone light shows for the NFL, Netflix, Bandai Namco, MLB, NBA, Formula 1, NASCAR, BNP Paribas, Candy Crush, Los Angeles Football Club, US Bank, Paris Hilton, and Swedish House Mafia, among others.^[6] Pixis Drones provides exact replicas of brand logos, marks, colors, and animations in the sky, is safe, environmentally friendly, and operates throughout North America.^[7]

In 2022, Pixis Drones produced a 500-drone drone light show for Super Bowl LVI. Later that year, Pixis Drones collaborated with Capitol Outdoor, an outdoor advertising company, on the drone light show for the 2022 NBA Draft in NYC.^[8]^[9]

In 2022, Pixis collaborated with Candy Crush for its tenth-anniversary celebration to deliver the first drone light show experience to NYC residents. It executed a ten-minute drone light show with 500 drones that was viewable from New York City.^[10]^[11]^[12]^[13]

In 2023, Pixis engaged in a public-private collaboration with the Government of New York City and the Office of the Mayor of New York City to deliver the first-ever drone light shows in Manhattan, Brooklyn, and the Bronx for the 50th anniversary of hip-hop. The NYC Hip Hop 50 shows celebrating the genre's musical and cultural transformation over the past 50 years were in Brooklyn, Queens, the Bronx, and Manhattan.^[14]^[15]^[16]^[17]

On July 4, 2023, Pixis delivered the first pet-friendly fireworks drone light show on the Santa Monica Pier in Santa Monica, California, for Stella & Chewy‘s, a raw pet food brand.^[18]

On September 30, 2023, Pixis delivered a drone light show for the Detroit Tigers to celebrate Miguel Cabrera’s retirement.

On October 12, 2023, Pixis delivered a 750-drone light show for Bandai Namco Entertainment to promote the Pac-Man Shine On Event.

Pixis has carried out several campaigns throughout the US, including for Raid bug spray and a chain of casinos.^[19]^[20]
