Pierrick Bouffaron is a French businessman and corporate executive, with experience of the full range of enterprise management and investing from startups to multinationals.

He currently serves as managing partner at Main Sequence, a technology investment firm.

Early life

Born in France, Bouffaron holds masters in mechanical engineering and applied mathematics from Centrale Nantes and Mines Paris, a SEP from Stanford University and a doctorate in business administration from Ponts ParisTech.

Career

Bouffaron works in the areas of technology, corporate innovation and private equity. Before starting Main Sequence, he was perhaps best known for leading one of the first European deep tech micro-VCs, later exited to Stallion. Bouffaron held leadership positions in multinational companies, including BNP Paribas, VINCI, EDF and Orano. He previously worked for the French foreign affairs. Joint positions in academia include the National University of Singapore, UC Berkeley, and PSL University.
