Phil Pallen

Phil Pallen (born December 9, 1988) is a Canadian branding expert and keynote speaker.[1] He is the owner of Phil Pallen Collective.[2] Phil is also the host of the Brand Therapy podcast.[3]

Early life and education

Phil was born in Kingston, Ontario, Canada. In 2011, Phil was one of several Canadians in the running to become Charlie Sheen's social media intern in Los Angeles. From 82,000 applicants, Phil made it to the top 50.[4] He developed a full-fledged campaign that earned him 70 media placements across TV, radio, and print.[5]

Phil has a Master of Science in Entertainment Business from Full Sail University and was inducted into their 12th Annual Hall of Fame. He also has a Bachelor of Arts (Hon.) in Media, Information, and Technoculture from Western University.[6]

Career

Brand strategist

Phil travels internationally for projects and consults for individuals and companies who want to shape their image through traditional and social media.[7]

Speaker

Phil has delivered speeches on five continents at major conferences, including Arctic15 in Finland, iMedia Brand Summit in Japan, Adobe Max in Los Angeles,[8] and HubSpot's InBound Conference in Boston.[9] He has also been featured on several podcasts, including Social Media Examiner Master the Agents of Change,[10] and Food Blogger Pro.[11]

Author

Phil is the author of the book, Shut up and Tweet.[12]
