One Hand for Happiness
One Hand for Happiness is an Indian non-governmental organization. One Hand for Happiness was established in 2021. It was founded by Kiran Singh. It is registered with the Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi.
History
A child is meant to learn not to earn. “One Hand for Happiness” is a non-profit organization having its registered office at Kalkaji, New Delhi and Noida Branch Village — Garhi Chaukhandi, Dhanni Colony, Near Sai Medical Store, Sector-68, Noida-201301 (Uttar Pradesh) India. Since 2015, it has been committed to facilitating the human rights of every individual, in particular the rights of identity, dignity and respect. It's been only one year but 60 students got promoted to school, those students who dont't even know the alphabet. This organization provides not only the education but also provides food, bag, notebook, etc. This organization hire paid teachers also.
“One Hand for Happiness” is mainly working in the field of education for the underprivileged children of the society, women living in difficult conditions and other members of the community — children of daily wage migrant labourers, suffering from incurable diseases; rural / from tribal areas and also from the transgender community. It focuses on education, nutrition, health, vocational training for women and youth. Co-curricular activities, advocacy and awareness building — child education, child retention in school and skill training (supporting them to a rational end), girl child and gender issues are the core of its programmatic work. The organization’s approach differs in the sense that it takes on the responsibilities of the parents. It helps the children to take care of their children until they become self-reliant. Tries to provide assistance to meet their needs for completing education. Mothers’ literacy and empowerment (social, economic and financial) is important for educating a child — given importance among the organisation’s initiatives.It is a matter of great pleasure for me. I realize the main feature about the NGO. It is not just an NGO but it is a bridge connecting people, our thoughts and words, our feelings and our soul. We work for the upliftment of the poor and destitute by helping them achieve socio-economic independence, selfreliance and health. We do everything from providing educational and health services to the needy. One Hand for Happiness is about the thoughts, feelings and experiences that our volunteers or other people represent. “It is our duty to flow like a river with clear water to be able to reflect what is in our hearts. It is one of the most important phases of any person’s life.”
Expenses
There are about 350 children in our organization, for whose studies, from copy-book to all the necessities, office rent, cleaning staff and teacher / teacher’s salary, all the expenses are being done with the help of the trustee of the institution. Our goal is that people join our organization and we can do more work for the children. It costs about 250/- for a child in the institution. You are requested to extend your hand to support the children of our organization by taking sponsorship of the children as much as possible to meet the expenses of the children.
