Oceans Healthcare LLC, usually known as Oceans Healthcare[1], is an American behavioral healthcare provider with locations across the United States. The system provides behavioral health treatment options for children, adults and seniors. Oceans' current headquarters is in Plano, Texas, in the Dallas metropolitan area[2][3] Oceans Healthcare was founded in 2004 and currently has almost 2,000 employees.[4]

History

Oceans Healthcare was founded in 2004 in Louisiana.[5][6] Oceans quickly expanded to other states, including Mississippi and Texas.[7][8]

Oceans Healthcare provides both inpatient and outpatient services, as well as community outreach programs.[9] Throughout its history, Oceans has placed a particular emphasis on reaching underserved communities in the southeastern US.[10]

In 2021, Oceans Healthcare formed a joint venture with Norman Regional Health System to open a new behavioral health hospital in Oklahoma in 2023. [11]
