Matthew Martinez
Matthew Martinez (born August 1, 1985) is an American real estate broker, real estate investor, cryptocurrency investor, and contributor to several real estate publications and news outlets. [1] [2]
He is also the founder and CEO of the luxury and investment real estate brokerage Diamond Real Estate Group.
He has been featured on Yahoo Finance, Forbes, Fox, NBC, CBS, Time, Digital Journal, Inman News, Marketwatch, Benzinga, and numerous other publications. He was included in the list of Top 100 Luxury Real Estate Agents On Social Media and the Top 100 Real Estate Agents On Instagram.
Early Life
Matthew Martinez was born on August 1, 1985, to Barbara Martinez in Sonoma, California. He grew up in a single-parent home.
Education
Martinez attended Justin Siena High School from which he graduated in 2003.
Career
After college, Martinez started as a part-time investor and flipper. After years of working with investor clients, first-time home buyers, developers, and, home sellers, he launched his own tech and data-powered real estate brokerage company Diamond Real Estate Group, specializing in the sale and lease of premium residential and commercial properties, vacant land development and fix and flip investment properties. He works with different banks and asset management companies on the valuation and disposition of their distressed and REO assets. He also runs a special program to help investors find private under-market investment opportunities. [3]

Throughout his career, Martinez has invested in real estate, generally flipping houses and focusing on the BRRRR real estate investing method.
His background in sales and marketing is an integral part of his ability to effectively represent properties and negotiate transactions. He specializes in selling homes, vacant land, vineyards, multi-family, and commercial properties.
He has purchased and renovated over 25 properties and shares his extensive experience with all buyers and sellers to best guide them when deciding which home to purchase or what improvements to make in anticipation of selling to maximize resale value.
